Written by author, I.B. Gumnut, the story is the third in a series of “Stories from Down Under.” This delightful children’s book carries forward the importance of keeping things adventurous and fun.
The book is a quick read and ideal for elementary school aged readers. The characters, Red and Blue, are loveable and spirited with a penchant for adventure and exploring. When I asked my son what he liked most about the book he said, “It’s funny and it has to do with dogs on a motorcycle.”
Passing the love of travel and adventure along to our children is important because little ones learn so much by seeing and doing. Travel, no matter if it’s near or far, is a wonderful education. As Gumnut states, “We must remind our children to retain their sense of adventure after the day’s work is done.” As someone who loves to travel, I couldn’t agree more.
